According to the UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization), food and wine tourism has established itself with great success.
In Europe, holidays with specific food and wine destinations have nearly 600,000 bookings on almost 20 million trips in which these activities have been part of. WFTA (World Food Travel Association), attests to 92% experiential tourism, and 58% dedicated to wine tourism with a user return of 70% and 81% recommendation to third parties.
